The Milwaukee Area Lutheran Reformation Service was held in the restored Sanctuary on Thursday, October 31^st. We were gathered by our gracious Lord, to hear of the wonders of His work in saving us from sin, death and hell. Trinity hosted Lutherans from around the state of Wisconsin welcoming all into the church to pray with the Schola Cantorum from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, a wonderful ensemble of strings and brass, as we prayed Choral Vespers accompanied by Trinity’s Music Director on our Russell Tracker organ in the north transept. The Rev. Dr. John Wohlrabe, the 6t^h Vice-President of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod delivered a marvelous sermon on Psalm 146, with Luther’s A Mighty Fortress intertwined in the homily. A historic day in Trinity’s history, as it was the first time since The Feast of Ascension 2018, that God’s beloved were together in the sanctuary for a delightful, memorable evening.
